Uploading avatar (pfp)

Again, Nadgames has neglected to supply important information and leaves players guessing on instructions. Here, they don't explain limitations on avatars. File type: is it jpg, bmp, png? Can I upload a 400 x 400 picture? Or am I limited in pixel dimensions.

I understand we should use Combat Online for this, even if we don't play CO, but its negligent to not provide simple information. I have better things to do then try every combination of filesize, type and dimension. I see my new avatar, on MY profile page here, but it is only a black square elsewhere.

How can I upload my avatar in Combat Online?

I managed to upload my avatar successfully, but it doesn't appear in-game. Also, whenever I log back in, my avatar disappears.

For players wanting to upload an avatar it has to be a jpg file, no other file will work. And as for it disappearing I'm not sure why it does that, but so long as you have used a jpg file the photo will appear permanently whenever the game next resets (about 23:00 GMT)

How can I upload my avatar in Combat Online?

I have the same problem
I hope that after the JPG format it remains for permanent after game reset time
